“Claremount House was newly established in April 2001 in Claremount, Halifax, West Yorkshire. It has been specifically designed to provide care for elderly severely mentally ill. All lounges and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful elevated view of Halifax. Claremount literally means ’Views of the Mountains’. The cobbled stones, used for the facade of the building are Victorian in origin and wer part of the original road leading to the Home. The Home has 22 extremely large spacious rooms and a large private enclosed garden. Situated at the top of a hill the views to the distant and the night traffic offer astounding views....” show more
