Refurbished in March 2011, Buchan House’s Dementia area has been decorated in a bright and friendly style, with street, garden and seaside themed corridors.
Each unit at Buchan House has its own lounge and dining room as well as a private and secure outdoor space. Our Sunflower and Snowdrop units are situated on the ground floor and have access to beautiful gardens, designed for people to use and enjoy. Iris unit is situated on the first floor and has a balcony for people to relax and take in the view. At Buchan House, people have access to a hairdressing salon with stylists visiting three times a week and a chiropody service, along with twice-weekly GP visits to ensure general good health and wellbeing."
