It is situated near to Welwyn Village and Mardley Hill. Heath Lodge is an old Tudor style building which used to be Heath Lodge Hotel many years ago. It is set in beautiful grounds and is only a short walk to the local shops. Heath Lodge is currently on a bus route. Arriva run two buses from WGC to Welwyn and the bus stop is situation at the bottom of Canons field Road. It is a ten min walk up a hill to get to Heath Lodge. Taxis run also. At the bottom of Canons field Road, next to the bus-stop, there is a small parade of shops including a florist, a small supermarket, newsagents, butchers, fruit & veg shop, a hair salon and fish & chips."
