Show more "Edward House joined the MY Care family in 2010 and is a 32 bed mixed Care Home for the Elderly who need to live in a supportive and caring setting. We have an experienced and caring team of workers with years of skills in the caring field. We aim to promote a pleasant family environment.The objective of our home is to provide holistic care for the individual, while catering for our residents social, psychological and physical needs. Independence is encouraged and fostered at all times and the aim of the management and staff is to provide the optimum level of care needed to ensure the residents are happy and fulfilled.
Privacy is of utmost importance and residents are free to bring small personal belongings in order to personalise their rooms. They have a say in the running of their daily lives and are encouraged to pursue activities such as shopping etc. where they are able to do so. Edward House Residential Home is well placed in the local community for this, with shops, banks, post offices and churches all accessible and bus routes are only a short walk from the home."
