Our team comprises experienced registered nurses and capable, people-centred care assistants. We're featured in a DVD examining best practice in care, and are rated as providing ‘Premium' care by our local authority.
We're about 10 minutes from Chesterfield town centre, and easily reached by bus or car. The local hospital is also just a few minutes away.
Ashcroft is well equipped and well maintained. Our garden area is continually being developed, and residents and their relatives are encouraged to play an active part.
Inside, every corridor is themed to provide a tactile and engaging environment for residents. Our Rainbow room has snoezelen equipment which can be used to stimulate the senses and promote relaxation.
Some bedrooms have en suites, others have bathrooms very accessible. All have facilities for TVs and telephones, and are tastefully decorated. Wherever possible, this is to residents' tastes so they can express their individuality and feel more at home." Show less
