Our experienced staff members provide a wide range of care, for the elderly and those living with dementia, that's tailored to individual needs. We aim to offer all residents a high quality of life, whatever their circumstances.Some residents stay with us permanently, others for shorter periods. If you're looking for respite care to give loved ones a break, we're more than happy to help. We also offer end-of-life care, which can be crucial in giving relatives the help and support they need during a difficult time.
Both homes enjoy a lovely central position, close to the town centre and all its amenities, and have good transport links, making day trips and visits easy. Many of our modern bedrooms have en-suite facilities and all are decorated to a high standard. Most are single occupancy, although we do offer the option to share. Poplars has been awarded the bronze PEARL accreditation. We work hard to create a positive, safe environment to support people living with dementia.
Many residents enjoy pursuing their hobbies in our spacious, airy lounges. It could be playing games, watching TV, listening to music, or reading quietly. We also have two sensory gardens and patio seating areas, which are particularly popular during summer. Residents and visitors can relax and socialise with friends, or just wander by themselves in our secure outdoor spaces.
