“Merseybank Care Home offers a wide range of nursing and respite care for the young physically disabled, the elderly and the elderly mentally ill. We are located in the High Peak of Derbyshire within easy reach of Manchester and Stockport but, only a short drive away from the Peak District National Park.

Merseybank was originally built by wealthy cotton mill owners as a residential house. Once owned by a local GP, the house has been extended and converted for use as a nursing home retaining many of the original features. The Home provides nursing and respite care to the residents and is split into four individual units with specialist facilities for young disabled, elderly frail and mentally disabled residents. We have an extensive walled garden with a large patio area and built-in barbecue. The Home has its own pets including two cats and several visiting dogs.
