“Clapham Lodge Care Home is located in Clapham Village, to the West of Worthing and close to the South Downs. The home is set in beautiful Sussex countryside and offers a warm and friendly environment for older people, within a bright and spacious Edwardian detached country house.

Clapham Lodge has been extensively modernised and extended at ground floor level to provide large, well-appointed rooms and facilities, yet retaining the character and charme of a country house. It features a sunny internal courtyard and a large conservatory looking out over 1.5 acres of spacious and secluded gardens.

Clapham Lodge provides high quality residential care and respite care. Our vision is that all older people should retain their independence, dignity and peace of mind. We provide a variety of accommodation to suit every budget, including spacious single ensuite rooms and twin ensuite rooms to cater for couples. A selection of our rooms have their own kitchenettes and each of our rooms is light and airy with delightful rural views. Every room has a TV point and residents are welcome to bring their own furniture with them. The home benefits from a modern assistance call system in every room and there is wheelchair access to all facilities.

Clapham Lodge provides nutricious meals catering to all dietary needs, stimulating activities and in-home entertainment, regular outings, and a spacious passenger lift. We provide regular visits to residents by external professionals to include regular chiropody and hairdressing.
