Galsworthy House Nursing Home

177 Kingston Hill, Kingston-upon-Thames KT2 7LX. Care home with nursing

Owned by: Caring Homes Group - a private company that owns a number of homes

Owner's description

“Galsworthy House stands 'twixt Kingston Hill and Richmond Park with its two thousand acres of natural terrain where red and fallow deer wander freely and where the natural wealth of trees and wildlife creates an ever changing scenic display. Situated as it is, so near to the centre of London and within easy reach of the conurbations of north west Surrey, Galsworthy House offers a unique and much needed high quality nursing facility for both long term and short stay convalescent guests.
As the name suggests this house was the birthplace of John Galsworthy. Dating from 1860, by agreement with English Heritage it has now been considerably extended in a style which retains the elegance of the older building while providing modern, spacious accommodation to meet the needs of a first class nursing home.
All the private bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and those on the ground floor have direct access to the immaculately laid out garden. In short, the development of Galsworthy House as a nursing home has retained the fine dimensions of the building, reflecting the gracious living of times past but now affording a serene environment suitable for the twenty-first century.
Both convalescent and long-stay guests are equally welcome. Guests who come to stay will find surroundings both tranquil and serene, for their chosen way of life. They are able to reflect on the past and confidently look forward to the future and above all enjoy a lifestyle where the emphasis is on the preservation of individual dignity and individual choice
