We strive to offer services that are of the highest standard and are tailored to meet individual needs, incorporating specific wishes and choices. We seek to provide stimulation and encouragement for each resident, thus enabling them to fulfil their physical, psychological, emotional, social and spiritual needs and to assist them to retain their independence. The House lies in 5 acres of spacious grounds, only ten minutes’ walk from the Wantage shopping centre, library and Parish Church. There is a beautiful Chapel attached to the House, where Eucharist is celebrated regularly. We have four sisters from the Anglican Community of St Mary the Virgin who reside in St Katharine’s house.Our priority is the well-being of our residents and to support them to achieve their potential in their daily lives with dignity, respect and privacy. We respect that each person has a life history and that is what makes them unique. Our highly trained and motivated Staff understands the needs of the elderly frail with dementia; they live and breathe by our core values which are underpinned by person centred care.
