The magnificent building, originally built in 1914 as a convalescence home for miners, stands in mature, landscaped grounds which feature a bowling green and a grade II listed war memorial. Occupying one of the finest positions in the town and with commanding panoramic views over Morecombe Bay and the surrounding countryside. We provide facilities for 61 elderly ladies and gentlemen, requiring 24 hour nursing or dementia care.The building was converted to a nursing home in 1991 but has retained many of the original architectural features."
