Owner's description

“The Hope Residential & Nursing Care Home is an established 57-bed care home in central Cambridge. It is set in extensive, mature grounds creating a peaceful atmosphere and is next to the Botanical Gardens.

The Hope was established in 1940 by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Bordeaux and originally functioned as a small hospital. In 1989 it was decided to extend and refurbish the home to provide residential and nursing care to older people. In 1999 the Sisters sought the assistance of the Healthcare Management Trust to develop and manage the home. The emphasis is on ensuring that the care residents receive meets the standards that everyone would wish for their own families and closest friends”
