With its wealth of facilities and attractive surroundings, Rock Cottage Care Home is the perfect place for the elderly to enjoy excellent standards of residential and nursing care whilst relaxing in a home-from-home environment. Fully qualified staff, who pride themselves on attention to detail and a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude, are on hand to provide round the clock care.Accommodation comprises of single rooms, most have ensuite facilities, each equipped with nurse call buttons and TV points. Telephone sockets are also installed so that payphones may be used in bedrooms. Residents are welcome to bring their own furnishings and personal items subject to them conforming with health and safety regulations.
Visitors are always welcome, and families are actively encouraged to take part in residents care routines. There is a separate lounge for visitor’s families if they wish to have privacy. Alternatively, visiting can take place in any of the comfortable reception rooms.
The quality of cuisine also helps set the care home apart. Food is home cooked and there is a choice of nutritionally-approved menus. However, if a resident has a particular culinary request, our cooks will endeavour to rustle up something appropriate. We are also happy to cater for any special diet." Show less
