Show more "Westy Hall is a purpose-built residential care home approximately two miles from the centre of Warrington town centre and one mile from Latchford village. The home includes a ten bed household called The Hollies, specifically catering for people with dementia.There are 39 single rooms. All rooms have television points. There are a number of lounge areas and dining rooms around the building. One of the lounges is for smokers and another is fitted with a hearing loop, a discreet device to improve sound reception and aid those with hearing difficulties. The hair salon on the first floor is a purpose-built and comfortable room, with visits from a trained hairdresser twice a week. An activities room is situated upstairs, furnished with table and chairs, in addition to comfortable seating, to enable the residents to participate in arts and crafts activities. Tea and coffee making facilities are available here. There are pleasant gardens to relax in, which can be easily accessed by those Residents requiring the use of a wheelchair. We have a separate garden for those people who live in the dementia unit, which provides a safe and secure outside area." Show less
