The flats have all had new PVC replacement windows & doors. Each flat has a call alarm system that is linked to a call centre called Telecare, who will contact the wardens for you in an emergemcy. Plenty of care parking space is available for tenants & visitors at the front of the scheme. Cranham Court is very well situated for all your needs, a regular local bus service stops right outside the front entrance which will take you to the town centre. Right next door is the local neighbourhood office and a group of interesting shops, such as a charity shop, hairdressers, bakers, hardware, local library, chemist and the post office inside the Spar shop. The chippie and the local pub (The Glovers Needle) are near the corner.
St Wulstons Church nest door will welcome you - they have a breakfast club on a Thursday, and are starting a lunch club very soon.
The Warndon team of Community Warden's base office is located upstairs at No 1 Cranham Court. The downstairs of the house has recently been transformed into a communal room - it has a kitchen and a lounge with a large wide screen TV and large patio doors leading to a private garden. All tenants have access to these facilities which have good disabled access. There is no structured social club at the moment, but social events are organised by tenants and Community Wardens."
