Show more "The Bakewells is situated west of Bolton in the quiet residential area of Ladybridge and is set in extensive private grounds and landscaped gardens. Ladybridge and the town of Bolton have every shopping and recreational facility that may be required and yet are only a few minutes away from some of the most beautiful countryside in Lancashire.The Bakewells has been established as a care home since 1985 and is currently registered for 25 residents. It is inspected twice yearly by the National Care Standards Commision and meets all fire, health & safety, hygiene and other Commission regulations.
The internal layout of the home is extremely spacious and is decorated and furnished to a high standard whilst keeping many original features. These include the delightful mahogany panelled reception hall and staircase complete with its stained glass dome and chandelier.The residents' accommodation is on the ground and first floor and is comprised of 21 single rooms, 9 of which are en-suite, and 2 twin rooms. A passenger lift serves the first floor for those who wish to use it. 3 comfortable lounges and 2 dining rooms afford residents an opportunity to mix together or quietly relax." Show less
