Show more "Tickford Abbey is a pleasant late Victorian house, built on the site of a former mediaeval monastery on the outskirts of Newport Pagnell. The magnificent landscaped garden bounded on one side by the River Ouse offers the ideal setting for relaxation.There are a total of 33 bedrooms, most with en-suite facilities. Each room is fully furnished to a high standard. Residents are encouraged to bring in personal items such as pictures, ornaments and small items of furniture. The rooms are also equipped with a call bell system, T.V. point, easily accessible light switches and plug sockets. In addition, we have a number of assisted bathrooms/shower rooms. A pay phone is available, but residents may have a telephone in their room at their expense." Show less
