Show more "Winton Court is situated in a quiet spot at the heart of Winlaton village near Gateshead, within its own picturesque grounds. The village has a beautiful church, St Anne's, as well as shops, a post office, chemists, dentists, banks, hardware stores and restaurants, including fish and chip shops. It hosts car boot sales on Wednesdays and Sundays and there is a day centre service, which Winton Court residents are welcome to attend. There are bus stops outside the court and buses run every 15 minutes to the town centre and Gateshead Metro Centre, where there is a cinema, bowling alley and pubs.

Winton Court has developed excellent relationships with the churches in the village. There is a service the first Sunday of each month and holy communion every Wednesday. Members of the local community are also welcome to use the court's facilities. The court features a restaurant, hair salon, communal lounge, cinema room, a quiet lounge used as a library, a guest room, games room, laundry room, car park and landscaped gardens.
