Show more "Bretherton Court, situated near Ormskirk in Lancashire, is a great positive lifestyle choice for people aged 55 years plus, who would enjoy a spot of fishing around Burscough village, or watching the wildlife at the nearby Martin Mere Wetlands Centre.

There are local shops and amenities situated in the village which is about a 10/15 minute walk away. There are also good transport links further afield, with two local rail stations giving access to Southport, Manchester, Preston and Ormskirk (for the Southport/Manchester line a bus service stops outside, connecting to the Burscough Bridge rail station, Burscough village and also to Ormskirk town).

Bretherton Court itself offers a total of 25 one bedroom properties. The court has pleasant surroundings in a semi rural area, only a 10 minute walk from all local facilities, such as doctors, dentists and shops. Bretherton is linked with Pardoe Court, immediately next door, which has a peaceful pond-garden. The scheme has a pleasant communal lounge, laundry room and guest room. A mobile hairdresser visits the courts regularly. There is a 24 hour emergency call system and door entry system for your security.

Our Court Manager Service is an important and integral part of Housing 21’s approach to supporting our residents. It is designed to offer support and security to the court and those residents on court who need it. The service is about promoting and encouraging individuals to maintain their independence in their own home. Our Managers are also responsible for the day to day running of the court including looking after the Health & Safety, property management and resident engagement." Show less
