It is supported by grants from Government as well as charitable Trusts and Foundations. And it is sponsored by several major retirement housebuilders and managers. Our credits page acknowledges all those involved.

Helping you market your services and plan your business
EAC has compiled detailed information about sheltered and retirement housing, and care homes, throughout the UK, and offers this information to the public through its own Advice Line service and website, as well as through many other channels. It is uniquely placed to help market your housing or care homes.
We record detailed information about the aspirations, hopes, preferences and needs of 10,000 Advice Line clients a year, and our research capability draws on this and our accommodation and care datasets to offer a unique understanding of housing and care markets for older people in the UK. We undertake site appraisals and competitor mapping, and can contribute bespoke data to assist your business planning.
Working for all sections of the community
We intend to continue developing this website in ways that enhance its relevance to all users, particularly through the inclusion of material that specifically addresses the needs and aspirations of minority communities, disadvantaged groups, people with disabilities or impairments, and people whose first language is not English.

Built on that bedrock are the values of respect, choice, empowerment, holistic care and compassion. Hospices care for the whole person, aiming to meet all needs - physical, emotional, social and spiritual. They care for the person who is dying and for those who love them, at home, in day care and in the hospice.
