Manager's notes:The Glebe was opened in 1984, and was purpose-built as sheltered housing. It is located within the attractive village of Dunnington which is just 6 miles out of the city centre. The village is accessible from a footpath which runs down from The Glebe. There is a good bus service to York, Pocklington, Bridlington, Hull and Stamford Bridge. The bus service to York runs every 20 minutes.
The warden at The Glebe also provides a warden service to tenants of 17 bungalows in other parts of Dunnington.
