The Salters' Almshouses at Maidenhead comprise of eight small flats within a Grade II Listed Building, each with one bedroom, one bathroom, a living room and a kitchenette, set within pleasant surrounds in Maidenhead. The Salters' Company have a good working relationship with the Maidenhead & District Housing Association who own properties immediately behind the Almshouses. Under the Scheme, these flats are only suitable for elderly men and women, independent and able to look after themselves. A fee and maintenance charge is made which includes heating.
