Casework, advocacy & support
Casework, advocacy, and brokerage services help and support elderly people to access the services that they need. Sometimes older people don’t have the confidence, awareness or knowledge about available services and products such as welfare benefits that can meet their needs and preferences, and these people can be helped by casework, advocacy or brokerage services. There are a number of support services that will work with individual elderly people on a one to one basis to assist them to identify their needs, and then help them to access or secure services by mediating or representing them.
