Grants are funding or money that contribute towards the cost of purchasing something. They are almost always completely free, however some of the total cost may have to be paid for however this is usually likely to be a relatively small amount. Grants help elderly people buy something they wouldn’t normally consider due to the cost. Most grants are for older people, disabled people, and those on low incomes. There are a wide range of grants, for example home improvement grants, energy grants, and charitable trust grants. Grants usually require an application form to be completed, and help may be available to complete these.
