What does it do?


This centre has a one stop shop run by friendly, knowledgeable staff who provide all the information and advice you need about equipment and services.
There is a dedicated team on hand to help you make informedchoices. You will be able to discuss your personal requirements on a one to one basis.
Our occupational therapy staff can provide specific advice ordemonstrate equipment that may help you to manage your particular difficulties. 
We work closely with voluntary agencies such as Age UK, Vale Royal Disability Service, Red Cross, Cheshire Carers Centre and
IRIS (a visual impairment service) to provide additionalinformation, advice and access to other services. 

Equipment
There is a wide range of equipment on display which can help youwith your daily activities, such as washing and dressing, getting in and out of bed or around the house and much more.
For a realistic assessment of your needs each centre has specially adapted rooms set up, such as a kitchen, bedroom,
bathroom and lounge area. They are packed with the latest equipment so that you can see what’s on offer and try before you buy.

The independent living centre offer a wide range of equipment and professional services to support people who need help to live independently, including people with disabilities and older people.

Local service (Ellesmere Port and Neston).

How to access or apply for it:

Assessments are available by appointment byringing the respective centre.
Opening hours are Monday-Friday 9am- 4.30pm.
