What does it do?

BATIAS provides Formal, Citizen and Self Advocacy in South and West Essex, this includes the Unitary Authority of Southend.

Who it is for?

Set up in 1992, BATIAS has historically worked with people with learning disabilities however we can also support people with physical and sensory impairments, complex needs and behaviors that challenge. Through the provision of advocacy BATIAS empowers people with disabilities towards independence.

Local service (Epping Forest, Harlow, Southend-on-Sea, Tendring, Thurrock, Basildon, Brentwood, Castle point, Rochford).
