Kinetic Medicine Home Care

Help recover at home after hospital, respite, personal care Bristol

What does it do?

Our home care and support services offer short or long term assistance in the activities of daily living (ADLs) for adults. You may need our support for a number of different reasons including age related frailty, disability, respite care for your family or because you need help to feel part of the local community. Perhaps you have a family member who is your regular carer but you need our services while they are at work or having a day off.

We also specialise in 'Recovery at Home', for people that need help to readjust following hospital admission, illness or injury. We are unique in the fact that we employ our own physiotherapists that can work closely with our carers to provide a complete care and rehabilitation package. Our care packages typically suit people that need assistance and ongoing rehabilitation following hospital stays, injury or illness. We aim to reduce the risk of re-admission or admission to hospital in the first place.

Who it is for?

Our services are used by adults that need extra support to live independently in their own homes.

We specialise in visits of two hours and more; this means that we can really get to know you and spend the time with you that you deserve. It also means that our carers are never in a rush and that the care you receive is exceptional.

Where it is available?

If we are unable to help, we will do our best to put you in contact with a service that can.

What to expect then:

One of our care managers will arrange a convenient time to visit you and discuss your needs further. We really want to get to know you and find out how we can provide exactly what it is that you need to maintain independence and a good quality of life.

From our initial meeting we will create a personal care plan with you that will outline day to day details about how you want your care provided – this plan will help direct your carers while they are with you. The care plan will also detail the days and times our carers will visit you and the names of your carers and service manager. We will provide you with a copy of the care plan for your records.
