We provide free NHS sight tests and eye examinations for eligible patients in their own home.
Free NHS spectacles are also available and are usually delivered 1 week later.

For anyone who can't get to their local optician unaided due to a medical reason

• The service is free to most of our patients ( everyone over 60)
• Spectacles are free for those who are eligible ( in receipt of Pension guarantee credit)
• Patients can also pay for an upgrade or pay privately for their glasses

If we are out on a visit the telephone call should transfer to our mobile phone.

An answer machine will take a message if we are out of range.

We will call back and arrange a suitable time to visit and carry out the sight test and eye examination.

Patients don't normally have to wait more than a week for an appointment and glasses a further  week
