Care at home

What does it do?
Knowsley’s domiciliary care service provides personal care for adults and older people, supporting you to live
independently and protecting you from exploitation and harm.

What help does the service provide?

The team assist you and your family to make informed choices about your care. You may be assessed as
needing help with feeding, bathing or toileting or help with domestic chores.
We have five registered offices. Three operate locally in Kirkby, Huyton and Prescot/Halewood. The other two
offices provide borough wide services and specialise in old age mental health and intermediate care.
Whatever your needs, you can be sure that we treat service users and families with dignity and respect.

After we have assessed your needs but before we arrange any services, we will carry out a financial assessment and tell you if you need to pay anything.
