What does it do?This project provides support services to Asian and ethnic elders that improves their physical and mental well being, promotes independence, reduces isolation and increases their access to statutory and community services. Services include:
Social and leisure activities including games, music workshops, day trips Arts and crafts like embroidery, basket weaving, painting Health promotion by running specialist health advocacy clinics Health and fitness through yoga, exercise, swimming and walking groups Welfare advice and advocacy Befriending services through volunteers Lunch clubs and Asian meals provision Transport to enable elders to access services |
