What does it do?Extra Help was originally set up to respond to the needs of elderly people who are still living independently but need a helping hand. We recognise that many people do not necessarily need a full-time carer, but having a bit of help with tasks such as shopping, meal preparation, laundry, ironing, small maintenance jobs, transport to appointments and social events and pet care can significantly prolong the time that they are able to stay in their own homes. |
