First Contact also includes a service called First Contact Volunteers. Our volunteers act as trusted members of the community, providing high quality information and facilitating access to services which may support older and vulnerable adults to remain living independantly in their own homes.
Our volunteers deliver three key roles:
- First Contact checklist completion with older and vulnerable people living within their community;
- One to one support for older and vulnerable people who have completed the First Contact checklist but need more face to face help accessing services required;
- Providing a befriening service for older and vulnerable people in the community.
