What does it do?Health and Beauty activities, to include, hairdresser, beautician, chiropodist, spa baths, reflexology, Indian head massage, aromatherapy, clothes parties, etc. there is an extra charge for these services. People who do not attend the centre can also access the bathing service by appointment with our carer.
In addition, fund raising activities, shopping trips and outings to the seaside, garden centres, restaurants, etc. are planned and provided.
There is a General Manager who has the support of 2 carers, 2 cooks, a finance administration assistant and general admin/receptionist, the organisation relies heavily on its team of 41 volunteers, who provide care, driver and escort services.
We are able to provide small and intimate dedicated day care for people with dementia in a quiet room and garden area where they will be able to feel secure and flourish with their own individual needs being met. |
