North Hunts Community Car Scheme

What does it do?

Mainly essential journeys, including but not limited to: appointments at the surgery/hospital, opticians, dentist or picking up prescriptions. Also visiting friends and relatives in hospital. The scheme is particularly aimed at helping the elderly and disabled to get out and about.

Who it is for?

Residents of Huntingdonshire who are unable to make essential journeys by any other means. You do not have to be disabled to use this service.

Where it is available?

Local service (Huntingdonshire).

What it costs:

Passengers make a contribution of 25p per mile towards the cost of their journey. Mileage calculation begins from the drivers home.
