Your Local Authority is offering council grants to people who own their home or rent from a private landlord.
The insulation may be FREE if anyone in your privately owned or privately rented household is:
Aged over 60
Claiming tax credits
Disabled or chronically ill.
Even if you do not meet these criteria, you could still be eligible for a discount. Many people may qualify and it’s easy to apply. These technologies will reduce your need for gas or electricity, cutting your heating bills.
For all applicants, an assessment will be made of the amount of household income spent on energy. Those in greatest need will be given preference.
