What does it do?Located in central Stockport the Pop In 'is the place to meet' friends, relax and enjoy activities.

The Pop In provides a quiet place for people who wish to meet friends away from the hustle and bustle of the market place and shopping centre.

Between 9:30 and 1:30 everyday the Pop In is the place to relax, read the paper, have a drink with snacks available, meet people and generally take time in an unhurried atmosphere.

For the rest of the time there are a range of events, regular activities and social meetings, all developed in response to what people are telling us they would like.
For example:
  • A relaxed meeting place to have a light bite
  • Learning and sharing opportunities
  • Information events, such as tai chi
  • Social opportunities such as discussion, creative writing and knitting groups.
  • Travel groups
  • Wii Wednesday
And much more.
The Age UK Stockport Information & Advice and Insurance office are also located next door.
