What does it do?

Opening times:
11 am to 12 noon Morning session
12-1pm Lunch
1.30-2.30pm Afternoon session

Transport to the centre is generally available

We offer a relaxed social atmosphere, and organised activities in both morning and afternoon sessions each weekday.

There is a Knitting club each Monday and Book Club and Tai Chi each Thursday morning for those who wish to take part.

The other main regular activities are:

  • Crosswords,
  • Wordsearch,
  • Word games,
  • Quizzes Bingo,
  • Number puzzles,
  • Board games,
  • a wide variety of arts and handicrafts.

These are scheduled on a rolling programme, so that someone attending on one or two days a week will get a variety from week to week.

At least three times a week we have special entertainments or outings.
