What it costs: There is a charge involved.
However your local authority are required to assess individual needs against their eligibility citeria and assistant in meeting costs may be granted.
transorming social care 2008 says that individuals can now choose to have payments for assessed needs paid directly to individuals via a personal budget/Direct payments.this gives you more freedom to decide and choose who provides the care you need. |

What to expect then: The service manager will arrange a convienent time to visit you in your own home to discuss support/assistance requires and how this can be a person centred assessment. |
Additional information: We do also cater for individuals who may not be in reciept of any benefits or qualify for benefits.
