The aim of the service is to enable people with a visual impairment to live as normal a life as possible. Rehabilitation staff can give guidance about a range of issues such as the activities of daily life, communication and mobility. Frequently they will be able to help people with visual impairments to achieve a greater independence and a better quality of life. The service can also provide advice about communication aids such as Braille, Moon, keyboard skills and recorded information. |
