What does it do?The purpose of the service is to provide a telephone helpline for people who are no longer eligible for help from Adult Services.
Starting Point can provide information, advice and a wide range of services for people with low to moderate needs to help you remain as independent as possible. This service is provided via a telephone helpline on a one to one basis or by fax or email.
This service provides information and advice on how to access reputable Domiciliary Care Agencies to help with everyday needs such as shopping, cleaning, ironing, low level personal care, etc. In addition, if any other needs are identified by the Liaison Officer, these will be discussed with you and, with your permission, will be signposted to the appropriate service.
