What does it do?

The Golding Lifeline has provided peace of mind for hundreds of people within Maidstone and the local areas since 1991. In many cases helping people keep their independence and stay in their own homes with the knowledge that help is only a simple press of a button away. Information regarding the customer, i.e.: medical requirements, responders and alternative access will be available to the Telecare centre. This enables them to activate appropriate responses when the pendant is activated.

The Golding Lifeline can offer peace of mind for families and with no minimum contract, useful for those recently discharged from hospital or as additional support for covering holidays.

The service is available 24 hours 365 days a year, responding to emergency calls.

Who it is for?

For older or vulnerable people in their homes. The Golding Lifeline helps many people including: vulnerable people, young carers and victims of domestic abuse.

Where it is available?

Local service (Maidstone, Medway, Tonbridge & Malling).

What it costs:

For the rental, monitoring and maintenance of the telecare unit and pendant there is a charge of £16.90 per month. Payment can be made on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis at no extra charge.

The Golding Lifeline can be demonstrated for free and installation costs £38.24.

How to access or apply for it:

To arrange a Golding Lifeline, simply call 0300 777 2600 or complete the application on our website. Generally, a demonstration or installation can be arranged within one or two days.
