What does it do?

A council run day centre for elderly people with moderate to severe disabilities providing a significant range of activities, care and support.

Classes and activities include:

keep fit
arts and crafts
bingo
horticulture
music
hairdressers
community access trips
special event church services
shopping
social events throughout the year
Transport provided to and from the centre (eligibility dependant)

To attend the day centre an assessment and referral from Social Services is required. There may be a charge to attend the day centre. This is means tested. Please see information on social services care charges for more details.
