Community Meals

What does it do?

Community Meals may be a permanent situation due to sight loss, a physical or learning disability, illness or a temporary situation such as recovering after a stay in hospital, to help you maintain your independence and quality of life.

Who it is for?

This service is for people aged 18 and over, normally older people, who are unable to prepare and cook one hot meal a day.

Where it is available?

Local service (Bury).

What it costs:

The cost is £3.70 a day for the hot main meal and dessert and £2.15 a day for the snack tea time service.
