Help in Your Home

What does it do?

If you receive a service, a Home Carer will visit you in your home to help you with:
  • personal care
  • shopping
  • collecting your pension, paying bills
  • household chores
The services are tailored to meet your needs. The council employ home carers directly and we also use private or independent companies, who have to work to our standards and guidelines.

Home Care is only provided following an assessment of a person's needs and eligibility. There is usually a charge for Home Care. Please follow the links on the right of this page for more information.
