Bereavement Services

What does it do?

The main purpose of the Bereavement Services is to provide burial, cremation, memorial and bereavement support services. It gives general information on registration of a death, useful contacts, and facilities offered by Cheshire East Council. We provide a caring, sensitive and high quality service for people at a difficult time in their lives. Losing a loved one presents many challenges, and the Bereavement Services staff can give helpful advice and guidance about all aspects of funerals and memorials. We welcome the opportunity to provide information and endeavour to provide a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere at the Cemeteries and Crematoria.
