Chamberlain Day Hospital

What does it do?

The Day Hospital provides assessment, therapeutic treatment, rehabilitation and respite care. The team is multi-disciplinary (MDT) and able to provide a wide range of therapies and assessments, utilising a holistic approach.
 

Who it is for?

Clients are from a diverse population in North Kensington and Westminster. People over 65 years of age.

Where it is available?

Local service (Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster).

What it costs:

The service is free of charge.

How to access or apply for it:

Specific days are allocated for clients depending on their assessed needs and mental health problems along with the reason
for referral:
Monday & Friday - For short to mid-term assessment and / or treatment of those with a functional mental health problem.
Tuesday –For the assessment and therapeutic treatment for those clients in the very early stages of Dementia.
Wednesday - For the assessment and therapeutic treatment of those clients with a moderate or severe cognitive impairment
Thursday - This day is for clients who need long term input, for those who are particularly vulnerable, requiring close
monitoring while living in the community. These clients have already been assessed at the day hospital.
