What does it do?Anchor Staying Put work with Kirklees Council to provide grants for homeowners who have Health and Safety issues in their home. For example, a re-wire, roof repairs, gas services and new boilers.

Over 60’s who own their property

Yes and we have leaflets in different languages. Talks are given to all groups in Kirklees.

The service is free for over 60’s who receive means tested benefits.

What to expect then:

Our Caseworker will make an appointment to visit and go through the procedure to apply for a loan, help with all the paper work and manage the contractors. All our contractors are fully vetted and are professional.

The grants will be given for Category 1 hazards only.
