Silver Song Club-Gosport

What does it do?

The Silver Song Clubs monthly meetings are led by trained facilitators often supported by volunteers from local choirs or amateur dramatics clubs and involve active participation, with a range of musical instruments being used.

The sessions last around an hour and a half with plenty of time for social interaction over a cup of tea. They also provide a great platform for reminiscence work and above all, are very good FUN!

The club runs once a month generally on a Friday. Please veiw the website or telephone for more details.
The Club does not run in August.

Who it is for?

The Silver Song Clubs have been running for four years in the South East of England and use the power of participatory singing in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere to promote the mental and physical well-being of older people and their carers, particularly the socially isolated and those suffering the effects of age related mental health issues.
