What does it do?We provide short-term care and support in the home for people after an accident or illness, giving them the confidence to continue their daily
lives. This service can be provided following a stay in hospital or to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. We can accept referrals from health and social care professionals, as well as self-referrals. We are able to support clients over the age of 18.

The support offered by our volunteers can smooth the process of
settling back into a normal routine and enable people to regain their
confidence and independence. The service includes:
  • rebuilding confidence
  • collecting prescriptions
  • offering companionship
  • assistance with shopping.
