What does it do?Age Concern North Yorkshire run Extend Exercise classes at Dene Park and Montpellier Court, Harrogate. The aim is to help older people maintain a degree of physical activity in later life in both short and long term.

Dene Park - every Monday from 10.00am to 11.00am

Montpellier Court - every Tuesday from 10.00am - 11.00am, followed by a coffee morning, where often guest speakers are invited to attend.

Starting on 12 June, for 6 weeks, Taster Exercise sessions will begin at The Friends Meeting House, Queen Parade, Harrogate at 11am - 12 noon. Each week will offer a different type of exercise, from Tap dancing, Tai Chi, Belly dancing, music to movement, walking to health, etc, all with qualified instructors. These sessions may also run in the Ripon area later in the summer. For further details, please contact the office on 01423 502253.

Northallerton
We offer a number of Extend exercise classes across the Hambleton district on a regular basis. For further details, please contact the office on 01609 771624.

Richmond
Back by popular request, Tap dancing sessions at the Georgian Theatre Dance Studios, Richmond will commence in the Autumn of 2009.

Reeth
Monthly tea dance held on the second Thursday of each month. For further details please contact 01609 771624.
